customer love: a golden garden wedding

Customer love time again! I love a wedding, don’t you? For today’s customer love edition, I have a lovely customer’s wedding to share with you! This time it’s a gorgeous golden garden wedding from a sweet bride. Alicia contacted us asking if we could make some custom versions of our Triangle Bunting Chair Garlands, and of course I said yes. :) an intimate golden garden wedding | the Path Less TraveledShe was interested in getting them in a glitter gold to use as an accent in her intimate garden wedding, and we were able to make them exactly as she had in mind {I always love it when that happens!}.  Her wedding was so lovely that I wanted to just crawl inside the photos when I saw them – gorgeous.

{by the way, if you have an idea for a custom item you would like us to make for you, contact us! Most of the time we can accommodate your request, and we are always happy to try.}chair banners at a golden garden wedding | the Path Less Traveled

customer love – a winter wedding

customer love – a winter wedding

This Customer Love post is especially fun for me – it features the wedding of an old friend! A while back I had the privilege of attending the winter wedding of a girl I have known forever, and she even let me help by contributing some of the decor. She was coming home from China to have her wedding in Colorado, and welcomed the snowflake items we were able to make for her!

I love it when a potential customer contacts me with her vision and colors – and then tells me the things she’s thinking of ordering are for her upcoming wedding(!). The process of working together to ensure that the shades of paper are just “right”, the back-and-forth about how quantities, sizes, timelines … it’s almost like planning my own wedding, but without the stress. :) custom colored heart cupcake toppers make a stunning display in this romantic wedding! Madeline’s wedding colors were turquoise and coral, and I was able to make turquoise heart cupcake toppers for her (which I’ve since added to the shop!) as well as some chair garlands in her colors.custom colored heart cupcake toppers make a stunning display in this romantic wedding! custom colored heart chair backers add a gorgeous pop of color in this romantic wedding! coral and aqua heart chair backers add a gorgeous pop of color in this romantic wedding! custom colored heart cupcake toppers make a stunning display in this romantic wedding! Madeline had a very specific vision for her wedding, and I was thrilled to work with her to make sure that it came into being {and was perfect!}. By the way, isn’t she just the most lovely bride? If you’d like to get to know her better, she has an amazing blog called Style Me Thrifty, where she shares fashion tips and finds – all with an eye toward those of us on smaller budgets!

Madeline, you were a delight to work with, and I am so thrilled to see how your gorgeous wedding came together!

customer love – wedding edition

customer love – wedding edition

It’s that time again – time for another customer love post! This time it’s another wedding edition {don’t you love them? Always so gorgeous and unique :)}

For this wedding, a customer contacted me requesting a bunch of my vintage heart cupcake toppers with a variety of words and custom phrases and the couple’s wedding date stamped on them. She was doing cupcakes for her cousin’s wedding, and mentioned that it had a rustic barn theme. Between the two of us, we came up with “XO“, “Love“, “Sweet“, “Hitched”, “Mr. & Mrs.”, “I DO“, “Z & J” {the couple’s initials} and their wedding date. They all looked so amazing when they were finished!

Jaramee sent me this photo after the wedding to show how lovely everything was {didn’t she do a fabulous job!} and said “this was a very affordable way to do a beautiful dessert! Buttercream cupcakes from Sam’s Club are less than 50 cents each and looked beautiful with the custom toppers and edible glitter I purchased for $5:)”

I agree, the toppers are a perfect and inexpensive way to make some basic {but quite yummy!} cupcakes look fantastic! Thank you so much for sharing this, Jaramee .<3

pretties from the bloggy world

pretties from the bloggy world

Have you seen my “featured on” page recently? I’ve just updated it with a few of the lovely blogs that have featured some of my items or events that used items from the shop (seriously gorgeous events!).

Here’s a sampling:
Style Me Pretty has had a few different posts with things from the shop:

A gorgeous wedding that they featured last October where the bride requested some extra large hearts garlands in book pages to warm up the back wall of the church.

A wedding in Ireland where the couple used  some of the Romantic Vintage Heart garlands in the backdrop for their cake table. So sweet!

A New York Valentine wedding. The event planner did a custom request for chair garlands, and they became so popular that I have since added them to the shop!

And an Australian engagement session where the couple used the Romantic Vintage Hearts garland as one of their props – their photos were stunning!

The baby blog On To Baby featured one of the sweetest baby showers I’ve seen, and it just so happened that the girl who threw it, Mona of Birds and Honey, had asked me to make her some custom “It’s a Boy!” cupcake toppers for it (another item that has become so popular that I’ve added them to the shop!). They were just darling and really complemented the rest of the shower decor.

Anyway, those are just a few! Aren’t they gorgeous? Every time I see photos of where people have used my products I am amazed at how sweet they turn out and how they fit into different settings so well. If you have photos of an event where you’ve used some of my creations, I’d love to see them! And if I’m able to use them here on the blog or on facebook, I’ll send you a coupon for your next order!

Style Me Pretty

Style Me Pretty

A while back a bride from Ireland bought some of my Romantic Vintage Garlands, and her wedding was just featured on Style Me Pretty!

I really love how the bride used them along with some other garlands for a rich and layered feel – and that she hung them vertically too. <3
It always makes my heart happy to be able to see photos of how customers have used and loved their purchases!

By the way, if you (or someone else) feature photos and links of your purchases from the shop and you then send me a link to it, I’ll send you a coupon. : ) Thanks and love to you all!

Sweet Hearts

Sweet Hearts

I just added a new item to the shop – Heart Cupcake Toppers!

They are so sweet, and would be darling to use for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, a special tea with friends …. or just to dress up your morning muffin. : )

I have plans to add ones made from music paper, red ones and maybe more – I’ll keep you posted!

Thank you so much for following along with me here on the blog. I haven’t been the most regular of bloggers – leaving you hanging for weeks on end sometimes – but I do deeply appreciate all of you who click over and read occasionally. : )

Also, the shop has had almost 300 orders (I can barely believe it! God has been so good.) and to thank the person who places the 300th, they are going to get free shipping on their order! (the shipping fees will be refunded once the transaction has cleared)
Please feel free to share the news with your friends! :)

It’s really fun to realize that some of the things in the shop are getting featured on websites and blogs (a huge thank you to all the wonderful people featuring them!!!). It brings a huge smile to my face. : )

I was so excited this afternoon to see that it had happened again last week! The blog that carried that post is called It’s A Brides Life (here’s the post). The author was writing about Etsy wedding decor and included the Romantic Vintage Hearts garland. :)

Scrolling through some of the posts reminded me of the hours I spent getting ideas from wedding blogs 4 years ago. *sigh* It was so much fun!
