In other online news … our Atlas Cupcake Toppers have made it onto the Country Living website!

We're in Country Living!

Last week I was contacted by one of the editors of Country Living.

She was checking to see if I would mind submitting some photos and products to be considered for one of their web features – after a split second of thought I responded with “sure!” {of course!}

We emailed back and forth a bit, and this week the feature on hand-made wedding cake toppers went live {yay!}. Each one  of the cake toppers featured is sweet and lovely in it’s own way – I’d love to be able to use them all! I’m so thrilled and grateful to be included – God is so good and surprises me with the ways that He is growing our business on our behalf. :D

customer love – wedding edition!

customer love – wedding edition!

From time to time, I get an email from a customer with photos of how they’ve used their purchases in their event – today I have a wedding edition that I’d like to share. I love these photos!

From the bride: “You’ll see in the second picture it says “class of…” It’s because we planned an outdoor wedding in west Texas and it just doesn’t rain here, but it did on our wedding day! We relocated our wedding to the High School my husband teaches at, with the help of our gracious friends and family. Little details like the cupcake hearts helped our wedding to still be “us” even with the last minute changes.”

You can see more of the wedding {here} – it looks like the day turned out perfect! Aren’t the photos just delightful?! Janelle, I’m so thrilled that you chose to use my creations to be a part of your wedding, and that you shared the photos with us!

Would you like to add a similar touch to your own event? The cupcake toppers that Janelle used can be found {here}! If you’d like, you can see other customer love posts {here} – do you have photos that you’d like to share? If you Instagram, tag them with the hashtag #thepathlesstraveledmarket, or email them to me at elizabeth(at)pltmarket.com and I’ll feature them here!

customer love – parties edition!

customer love – parties edition!

Each time a customer leaves a comment saying how much they love their purchase, it makes my day. I especially love it when they tell their friends and send me photos of how they have used the things that they have bought, and recently you lovelies have sent some super darling ones!
Here are a few of the most recent photos:

the red heart cupcake toppers in a fun filled owl and heart birthday – so cute!

aren’t the owls and hearts just darling together?

It’s so simple to add a festive and patriotic touch to your desserts with the Red, White and Blue Star set – and even more striking with a miniature flag to top them off!

The red heart toppers again, this time for a little girl’s first birthday – love! The red is really striking against the colors of aqua, teal and yellow :)

The Red Heart Garland sweetening a display of photos from the baby girl’s first year – I love this idea!

the Star cupcake toppers again, this time adding a crisp and masculine touch to a little guy’s first birthday – can you see the little number “one” on the cake? I love how creative you all are!

She even used some of the star chair garlands to drape in front of {and in!} the super darling Birthday Boy vignette. Love this!

Do you have photos that you’d like to share? If so, you can either email them to me at elizabeth@pltmarket.com or tag them with #thepathlesstraveledmarket on Instagram – we’d all love to see your ideas!

Don’t forget -there are just a few hours left to save 20% using the exclusive coupon. It expires at midnight tonight! I hope you are all having a truly lovely weekend,

XO

the random bits, via Instagram

the random bits, via Instagram

Remember how I’ve mentioned Instagram? And how I post to it occasionally? The photos can be a bit random, from my new {broken} coffee mug, to shots of projects in progress, to things that I’m packaging up to send to customers or pretty little packages that have arrived in the mail – bits of just about everything! And lots of baby photos {because she’s just so sweet}. :) If you’d like to follow me and see what we’re up too, I’m @pltmarket :)

Here are some highlights from this week:

Brand new – and hopefully being added to the shop soon – little cloud cupcake toppers! I’ve had these in mind for a while, and finally had the time to make them :)

Have you heard of Dear Lillie? I love her blog, and also her shop. Haven’t bought any of their things yet {I’d LOVE a growth chart!} but on Easter saw that they were having a 30% off sale and so I snatched up the “In Christ Alone” pillow cover. It showed up this week and her packaging was so sweet! And I’m loving the pillow, too. :)

IMG_2241 These paper stars are hanging in the children’s room, and I’m hoping to add some to the shop soon. {really, I have quite a list of things that I hope to have “coming soon”!}IMG_2243 This little guy has been a reluctant napper for the past few weeks, and he actually took a nap on Thursday. {see those eyelashes? they slay me}week on instagram from the path less traveled

another little pretty that came in the mail – Laura of Along for the Ride was having a sale {I love a sale – can you tell?} and when the bracelet I had ordered arrived, I found that she had included this fun set of hoops, as well! Funny thing – I’ve been wearing the earrings more than the bracelet :) Love them!

I’m linking this on Life Rearranged – do you use Instagram? I’d love to see your photos!

a little St. Patrick’s Day party

a little St. Patrick’s Day party

what do you get when you combine some green, some gold and a few cupcakes? A little St. Patrick’s Day party!

So, I’m not Irish. And we didn’t really celebrate St. Patrick’s Day growing up. But I do love a good party {and any excuse to have a cupcake} and I really enjoy the story of St. Patrick {my kids are most familiar with the Veggie Tales version}, so here’s one that I styled to celebrate!

You can find everything that I used {except for the chocolate coins and napkins – those are from Target :)} in the shop: Shamrock garland, chair garlands, party bags, shamrock cupcake toppers and book cupcake toppers

So, are you Irish? How do you celebrate? I’d love to hear!

Sweet Hearts

Sweet Hearts

I just added a new item to the shop – Heart Cupcake Toppers!

They are so sweet, and would be darling to use for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, a special tea with friends …. or just to dress up your morning muffin. : )

I have plans to add ones made from music paper, red ones and maybe more – I’ll keep you posted!

Thank you so much for following along with me here on the blog. I haven’t been the most regular of bloggers – leaving you hanging for weeks on end sometimes – but I do deeply appreciate all of you who click over and read occasionally. : )

Also, the shop has had almost 300 orders (I can barely believe it! God has been so good.) and to thank the person who places the 300th, they are going to get free shipping on their order! (the shipping fees will be refunded once the transaction has cleared)
Please feel free to share the news with your friends! :)
